I just got a new camera with great zoom... its a point and shoot, but a decent one. I just need to read the directions! lol Have been taking photos but they are out of focus! lol
That really is an awesome shot. Dragonflies are my late friend's animal totem - whenever I encounter one, like your WW, I feel like she just said hello.

If I could do it,I'd do no writing at all here. It would be photographs; the rest would be fragments of cloth, bits of cotton, lumps of earth, records of speech, pieces of wood and iron, phials of odors, plates of food and of excrement... ... A piece of the body torn out by the roots might be more to the point. James Agee

Isn't it amazing now nature remembered to make so many varieties of each kind of animal (and insect)?
That is one amazing dragonfly. I like the serenity of this pic too!
NIce shot! Skimmers do love to pose, don't they?
I love their clear wings! So pretty!
Lovely dragonfly Michelle. I love finding them on a walk. A little piece of Mother Nature's beauty... Michelle
