this made me think of all the parents out there that think if they do everything right their child will perfect. the perfect child
Adored the painting prompt. But o help! Trying the sestina to go with it took me into rather fanciful alley ways.
Hope it has all turned out OK! It's a bit weird!

"Scarecrowess"
I started out trying the sestina when I got three stanzas into it and decided I didn't like where it was going. So, I went with a bout-rimes. Hope you enjoy.
I wanted to try out the Sestina too, but wasn't able to, due to lack of time:(
probably will try it out another time; don't think I was able to do justice to the watercolor
just now getting around to working on this... i love the picture tho!!!!!

i loved this photo... and i was able to combine it with read write poem for this week,, i am not sure i was able to pull of their prompt for the week tho... let me know what you think....
