Monday Mural will feature a picture/ artwork for you to lend your words (poem or story) each Monday. I want you to ask yourself what images are provoked here? What words would you use to define this picture? If you choose to write for Monday Mural please leave your comments below. Hope to see you around.
First I would like to say I am sorry for posting a late Monday Mural. But, I promised my daughter I would spend time with her all weekend. We had a great time eating out, watching movies and playing games. Also, don't forget to read the post below this one. It has news of an added feature and what to expect during National Poetry Month.
Tea Rorschach was originally uploaded to Flickr by Jennifer Hines. Here's what she had to say about her artwork. A mixed media works-on-paper show exploring how memory plays an integral role in the formation and reflection of our identities. The work shown will be both visual and textual reflections of the artist's memories, as well as images that spur the viewer to create narratives around their own real or invented memories. I can't wait to see how each of you interpret each obscure image and write it into a poem. Happy Writing~

Michelle, do you use Firefox?
Internet Explorer is a virus haven.
If you do use firefox, get noScript.
If not, you should.
As for the site, I can't tell whether it's a hijacked site or intentional spyware.
I'm leaned towards the latter, because I think Blogger would shut down a site that intentionally spreads nonsense.
Erm, I meant but instead of because.
Okay, here's my first attempt with you.
Stains
That was challenging for me, thank you. I had fun with it.

please do not open the post on the comment from akicage.
it is a spam that may harm your computer.
i opened it and it wants to download some "spyware". i then ran a virus scan and a spyware scan, with no detection... but better to be on the safe side.
I am sorry for the spam by Akicage. I hope no one was hurt by this. But, I have deleted the message now.

Perhaps I should have waited to write, but I try to go with my initial instincts. I see
I wrote two as the story came after the poem or was it the other way? Anyway here are the links:

I'm glad you spent all weekend with your daughter. What's more important than that?
Here's my poem. It's more of a free-write, kind off surreal. I had fun with it. Thanks, Michelle.

Seeing Everything
Better late than never: The Couch.
Here's my attempt "the woods of rorschach" using all 21 images in an ABC poem. I might need to make a few adjustments but, overall I am pleased with this non sense story poem. Hope you enjoy.
